Go, go, go!
Aida rolled over! Three times! She rolled from her stomach to her back like she'd been doing it forever. What a smart baby!
Finally
We finally, finally got a crib for Aida. She was starting to get way too big for the bassinet of the pack n' play so we figured it was about time. Ignore all the other stuff around the crib, we need to clear out and rearrange the room now that we have real furniture.

I really like how it turned out with the bedding my mom and I bought months ago but I think I might switch out the dust ruffle with a bright, solid color like pink or green. I think the stripes are a little too light agaisnt the bold colors of the sheet and bumper.

And of course, she slept in it last night for the first time without any problems. I swear that baby can sleep anywhere.

Best Sound in the World
Tonight Aida laughed for the first time. A deep, belly laugh that was just beautiful.
I'll dance and jump around the kitchen any day if it means hearing that laugh again.

Love Everything

I love everything about my little girl. I love that she always only has one sock on. I love how she smiles with her whole body when she first sees me in the morning. I love that she likes to hear herself yell. I love that she likes to chew on the face of her bunny rattle. I love how she shakes her head from side to side before she's about to fall asleep. I love how she sticks her whole fist in her mouth instead of just her thumb or a couple fingers. I love how her eyes squint and her nose crinkles when she smiles. I love how she pats my cheeks while she's nursing. I love how she stares at me with her big, blue eyes while I'm rocking her to sleep. I love how curious she is about everything. I love her chubby cheeks and thighs. I love how wide her eyes get and her mouth makes an "OH" shape when I show her a new toy. I love how she smiles when she sees herself in the mirror. I love the way she looks in hats. I love how she puts her arms around my neck and rests her head on my shoulder when she starts to get tired. I love to watch her grow and learn new things every day. I love the look of recognition and happiness in her eyes when she sees me.
