Did I mention the talking?

A list of some of the cute things Aida has been saying lately:

- "I LIIIIKE it!" or even "I LOOOOVE it!" when she tries something new and decides it is satisfactory

- "Guys! GUYS! HEY GUUUYS!" when she is trying to get Zack and I's attention

- "Dad! Dad, where are you?!" randomly shouted from the back seat of the car on the way home from the grocery store today, but cute because she usually always calls Zack "Dada" so hearing her say "Dad" sounded so grown-up, even in her little toddler voice

- "You sit in time out for one minute! I said no-no and you need to listen." said to her babydoll as she makes her sit on the bottom stair (where Aida herself has been spending some time lately)

- "Yes, that is really cute" after I put in her "pony" (what she calls her ponytail)

- "You ok? Do you want kisses? MWAH! Is that better? All better!" said whenever I might stub my toe her something, but the overly sweet, super concerned, extremely high-pitched imitation of the same words we say to her when she is hurt is what makes this one so adorable. I guess this is one of those times when you have to be there or I should try to get it on video.

I know everybody is excited when their baby says their first word, but I think I am more blown away by the way her language is expanding so at this age. Hearing her suddenly use words and sentence constructions that I didn't even know she knew is surprising me everyday.
